Join us for a semi-formal wine-tasting event featuring over 60 wines to benefit the Coats for Kids Program.
All proceeds from this event go toward the Coats for Kids program which provides the purchase of new Columbia™ coats and new Bogs™ boots for local area children who might otherwise not have a warm winter coat and/or boots. Our Coats for Kids program serves kindergarten through 5th grade students in Helena, East Helena, and Montana City. The Coats for Kids program works closely with local teachers and school administration, and together, we keep our local kids warm and dry.
Because of our teacher's passion and direct involvement with the program, there are four cash drawings throughout the night specific for teachers who attend the event.
If you can't make it to the event, please consider sponsoring a winter coat or a pair of boots for a local child.
Please consider supporting the Coats for Kids Program by becoming a Festival of Wines event sponsor. Your sponsorship is what makes this event possible. Below is a breakdown of our sponsorship levels, including what you will receive as a partner at each level.
A special thanks goes out to the Morehouse family.
Maxine and Warren Morehouse started the "Coat's for Kids" program in 1985 when she was the bookkeeper for Capital Sports, and Warren was a member of the Exchange Club.
Since 1985, the Exchange Club of Helena organization has raised over $200,000 and purchased more than 3,823 new coats for children in need. We have also provided 1,118 pairs of boots.
The Helena Exchange Club will continue the “Coats for Kids” program that Maxine and Warren started. It is such a wonderful program and the Helena area children have truly benefited each year!
